Hi!   I’m new to EZ Keys and really like the App!  I also use it in stand-alone to arrange piano tracks “pre DAW”.  Maybe this has been addressed, but it seems that the 3 tool bar on the left side of the song creator should be illuminated when you select the tool that you want to use .  As it stands, the tool that I wish to use remains grey while the other 2 buttons are highilighted , Seems a little backward and confusing compared to other software controls. A simple but logical fix.

This request is helpful for guitar players.   I would like to be able to use guitar voicings translated to piano chords for a different sonic structure.

(Example)  Take a basic triad C  (C,E,G) chord and add a sus 5 or add 5 (G) with the ability to select at least 2 octaves above the tonic. This is quicker and more accurate if you don’t want to change the inversion.

I was a little disappointed with some of the midi pack performances (timing)  a little on the sloppy side, but the over-all app functionality is very useful.

    Best Regards

Hi! I really enjoy the Mellotron and Pipe organ packages. Are there any plans to create packages for analog classics like mini moog, taurus bass pedals or oberheim ob-xa?

    I would buy that 🙂

I’d love to see you take on the Acoustic Guitar.  EZAcoustic anyone?

SOLVED. Right after posting the question below, I found in Audio midi set up where I had used the device default WASAPI. I changed it to ASIO, allowing me to change Hz to 41000. The TD-10 liked it.

A workflow of mine is to load audio files into my Roland TD-25 drum module.

EZKeys 2 appears to only allow WAVE audio files saved at 48000Hz. but my Roland TD-10 drum module requires WAV files that are 8, 16, or 24 bit with a sample rate of 44.1kHz. The bit rate can be met but the problem is the sample rate. How can I meet Rolands 44.1Hz requirement?

Roland goes on to say ”

If you’re sure you have a .WAV file or mp3 file that match this criteria and it still won’t play in the TD-25 , then the file may have embedded metadata, or “tags,” which will prevent it from playing. This can happen with files that come from DAWs (“Digital Audio Workstations”), other audio programs, or sample libraries.

You can strip this extra information from the file by converting it to Apple Lossless or FLAC format. After removing the information, the files will play in the TD-25. You can use various free programs (iTunes etc.) to perform this conversion.

Before I move on to stripping metadata, how can I meet the 44.1Hz requirement?
