There was a Jazz drummer in the late 40s and 50s/60s/70s named Chico Hamilton who aside from being known as a good all around band leader/drummer was also known for his playing of everything else in the drum kit-the sides of drums, the rims, the drum stool, the cymbals stands-not only for the wood on wood/metal sound but for the sympathetic ring of the cymbals and drums, etc.
On a few of your kits you have thing like off center hits or hands on drums which are kool but there seems to be a niche where stuff like Chico’s style would be useful. I understand that this isn’t something that most folks are crying out for but it might be useful for a number of people to have, like moi, to get that slightly different sound.
