Beatstation is a VST instrument like EZdrummer so it should appear in any instrument list.

As a VST instrument is plays back bass, drums, and lead sounds and can do so simultaneously. I’m not sure how StudioOne handles MIDI track routings but in Cubase, you can route multiple MIDI tracks to the same VST instrument so I can have 3 (or more) MIDI parts (bass, drums, and lead) routed to 1 instance of Beatstation. You can also set this type of routing up in Reaper by loading Beatstation as a Instrument and creating new MIDI tracks and creating a ‘send’ to the Beatstation track. Again, I’m not sure how StudioOne handles routing like this.

Thanks Scott. If for some reason this wouldn’t work in PreSonus’s Studio One Pro (or another DAW that supports VST’s), can it be returned?

Is there a demo version that can be evaluated prior to purchase?

I would like to demo this before purchasing too

On another note (pun intended)…..Beat Station should integrate with Studio One without any trouble…..That is assuming the bus routing is similar to EZ Drummer.

Thanks for post billshideler. Yeah BeatStation should integrate fine with S1 but there’s lots of updates floating around for fixing problems with products where things didn’t go as planned and I’d hate to be waiting around for one of those but I hear you. Any company these days seems to be missing sales opportunities if they don’t have some sort of try-before-you-buy option or a no questions asked return policy. JP
