I just purchased superior drummer 3 and use studio one artist. In all the tutorials I’ve watched, it should appear under instruments. I have not gotten it to show up in that section so far, and not sure if I need to edit the file path..
I run windows 10 and use a dell g7 laptop. Is there anything special about need to do to not have to bounce and upload to my daw :/? It is a workaround for now but not how I imaged it would be.
Hi,
that’s right, a Default installation should make the Superior Drummer 3 plugin appear in the Instruments list in the Browser on the right side in Studio One.
Does the Standalone work as expected?

*3rd Party VST, AU, and ReWire support is NOT included in Studio One Artist.
stated at the bottom of the Product Description page:
I just ran into this issue, and I had to manually select the folder where the plug in is. To do this, make sure you have plug in support for Studio One. Then go to Studio One>Options>Location tab>VST Plug-ins tab
Click “add”, and search for the installation. Hope this helps others. Just choosing the folder should be enough for the program to find the correct plug in support dll.
I am running into the same issue. Studio One 5 Professional. I manually added the folder location (D:\Toontrack) like the post above. The new path is showing up in the locations window like the screenshot above. However, SD3 is not showing up in my instruments list. What am I doing wrong?
Hi there, first could you start SD3 up standalone, go to Help >Show Plugin Path. That is the path (folder) that needs to be configured into Studio One.

Thanked by: Rocco CroccoThanks Brad. I had moved the SD3 file from my C drive to my D drive. I just deleted the file and installed directly to my D drive and it seems to have fixed the problem.
