I’m not sure if I’m right with this yet, but here goes…
I installed EZMix today and Wow!. What a great sounding piece. A weird thing happened though. When I was trying to record MIDI into Cubase, it wasn’t recording. Sometimes it would record but the timing was terribly off. I tried again and again, changing settings in Cubase, but nothing worked. I had 3 instances of EZMix loaded in my project.
Then, when I turned them (EZMix) all off and started a new project, everything was fine. So I loaded A couple of EZMix-es and the same thing happened. Seems like a weird bug. Anyone else have a similar experience?
Seems you don’t have “Auto Delay Compensation ” working for you.
p.s.
i dont use ezmix so i may be way off but if the software is bug free then i would tend to check ADC if Cubase has it.
I doesn’t have anything to do with delay compensation. It’s really weird. I can’t get it to recreate every time. It’s like it’s quantizing all of the notes that I play to the start point of my current recording. I can see the notes appearing as I play them, but when I let go they “jump” back to the record start position. Should I make a video of it? Can I post that here somewhere or do I have to post a link to it?
you can’t upload videos I’m afraid, but feel free to post a link to it. That said, it’s unlikely to be anything we can help you with by the sounds of it – so I suggest you also post / probe the Cubase official forums.
