I just did a fresh install of EZDrummer on my second computer and it does not look or act the same as the one I have on my laptop. They are both Win 7 and 64 bit config, I installed the same exact way and I upgraded the same way as well. But on the top left hand corner of the EZDrummer window they font looks off and there is a white background with like a blue highlight over the words on and basic and file. I have no Save icon on this line either. Can you advise?
I believe what you’re indicating is part of the “chrome” of your host software.
For example, it looks like this in REAPER…

…so… are the versions and configuration of your sequencer/DAW/host that you’re using the same on both machines?

Same OS, same version of Cakewalk Sonar 8.5.3. To conserve resourses I have turned off many things that run in the background, but I have done that to both machines also.
In that case, I simply don’t know what to tell you.
I’m afraid I don’t use Sonar, so I can’t say if perhaps you have a different skin loaded, or some setting slightly different between the two installs that causes the highlight on Sonar’s VST chrome.

It appears to me that you are using an 32 bit version of EZdrummer in a 64 bit version of SONAR. The graphic icon you see, indicate that the Bitbridge bridging adapter is in play. This adapter doesn’t work with TT products and has never been supported. The best course of action is to download and install the 64 bit version of EZdrummer.
If you have already done this then it is likely that the VST scanner SONAR uses hasn’t a path established to the EZDrummer x64 version. Add a path to that DLL and you should be golden.

The first install on this new computer was done as I was directed. I installed the 32 bit version first then the 64 bit version, same OS. I assumed that was wrong since I got this funky typing and lack of save icon. So I uninstalled and re-installed with only the 64 bit version and it still looks this way. My other older computer never had any trouble and looks like what is on the web sight. As a matter of fact it has had the 64 bit version in it for 6 months. It works and looks just like it should, I have even had to install it twice due to a re-format and I have never had a problem like this. I do not feel as if I have all the controls or save or delete options since when I try to type over “Basic” it will not allow me to do it. I will try a fresh instal tonight, but if it doe not work I am at a stand still. Please help if you can.
