New purchase of EXD2… 🙁
Installed 2.0.2 and things seemed be working but there appeared to be an update to 2.1.4 and a Core Lib update. Downloaded and installed both. Now, running standalone does nothing… I am able to get the plugin to come up in my DAW and a VST host that I use from time to time. At this point, I’m looking for the refund button. Very disappointing…. 🙁

what does the Installation info tab tell you in the Product Manager?
Could you please post a screen shot? Without including your serial number, of course.
Could you please specify ‘running standalone does nothin’? Any error messages?
Did you try reinstalling?

I can post a screen shot later tonight. But, from memory, PM says “downloaded”, “installed”, “authorized”, “fully updated”.
On the other questions: I try to run the EXE for standalone operation (directly from install directory and from desktop icon) and nothing happens. No windows open, no error messages… nothing. But, if I go into my DAW, I can load the plugin and it appears to be working correctly and shows 64bit version 2.1.4 in the bottom right corner.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled about 5 times. Is there a COMPLETE un-install process I can follow to clean out the registry and try again?

Uninstalling via the Product Manager is the way.

I also can not run the 64 bit standalone version. Windows 10 64 bit pro, installed with Product Manager to the provided directory. 32 bit runs fine.
This is the same issue with EZ drummer as well. Never was able to get the 64 bit version to work. I’ve tried just about everything I can think of from working in IT.
Updated windows, all toontrack software is up to date, reinstalled everything, tried running from main directory instead of the shortcut, tried compatibility mode for all previous windows versions it would allow… now I’m here.
It spins the mouse cursor like it wants to launch, makes noise on my speakers like it’s taking over the audio, then nothing happens.
32 bit opens just fine.

I have downloaded, installed recent update and other ez drummer2 components for both 32/64 bits. When clicking the desktop shortcut or the application icon within my windows explorer, i get a windows saying it is preparing for an install? and then nothing happens? I have to open the task manager and end the process manually. Please advise.

Same here…Preparing for install and just sits there. Plugin works fine in Cubase

which exact Windows 10 version are you on?
And you have freshly downloaded update installers? No errors during the installation?
Is there any difference if you right-click the app and ‘Run as Admin’?

I did run as admin and it worked…then I closed it and tried to reopen again without it and it worked too. Go figure….

I am also having a similar issue but on a MacBook Pro. I am using an M1 mac and rosetta.
I’ve tried to download the standalone multiple times but it still won’t appear in my applications 🙁

In Product Manager, could you run the installer again and then check: Help > Open Error Log and see if there’s anything there indicating the problem.
