I’m new to this and I am experimenting with EZ Drummer 2. When adding midi files to the song creator, I find the sound levels of the added midi files are usually very different, even when using similar midis from the same expansion pack (eg, EZX Jazz). I know I can adjust the levels in the mixer, but that’s really a pain and is very time consuming. Is there some way to automate this so that midis in the same song would have approximately similar sound levels?

ShootieIn this case you may want to iron out the dynamics a little with the individual files. When auditioning a file, but before dragging it to the Song Track, you can adjust it’s overall dynamics with the Velocity Slider located at the top of the Browser/Search Tab. After that, if just a single kit piece is popping out, use Edit Play Style and adjust dynamics for the selected kit piece in question. At this point, you can use the Mixer Tab to mix your song, not trying to fix things. Hope that helps.
