[Sony Acid] Sequencer?

I am new to digital recording, so bear with me. I am wondering what is meant by sequencer and how do I build drum tracks?  Currently I have either Guitar Tracks pro or Acid Music Studio. Are these considered sequencers?  When I drag and drop one of the Midi files into Acid Music Studio, the playback is just of the piano sounds instead of the drum sounds. And I can’t get Guitar Tracks pro to play back the audio.

Hi – as per FAQ Sony Acid is supported from version 6 onwards. GTP isn’t.

your problem is quite typical of an improperly routed track. Besides recommending you work on familiarity with your sequencer (Sony Acid) there is little that can do done… check the output of your MIDI track is indeed EZdrummer because chances are it isn’t 😉
