Song writer not coming up

hi all, new guy to recording, trying to write a song on drums but when I drag to the midi drop the part loads but not the writing grid thanks in advance for not beating a rookie up lol

Do you mean that when you drag a groove to the song track that you don’t see the grid editor? If that’s the case just double click on the groove in the song track and then make sure that the “grid” tab is selected in the resulting window.

to the right under the Song Track, you have a button labelled ‘Song Creator’. Please click it to expand the Song Creator Drop Zone and the columns with suggestions.

Thanks got it for some reason it just wasn’t fitting to page I resized it and have all the  controls now thanks everyone I’ll probably be here a lot lol
