I created a track in EZ Keys 1, exported it, upgraded to EZ keys 2 and imported it. Whenever I move the play head in my DAW to work on a different part of the song the key changes despite it being in the right key etc
I have to hard stop and reset my transport to the beginning of my project and press play again for it to be in the right key. This is a pain while still early in the project and adding more instruments, etc…I saw something about this from searching, but the solution didn’t seem like a good match for my issue.
What can I do to force this to stay in the right key?
Not sure your root problem. But transfer the project correctly first.
Save EZkeys1 file (don’t export). Open EZKeys2, go to File Menu, should say something like, Import EZKeys1 Project. Navigate to EZK1 file.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I did but did not articulate. Saved as EZK1 project and used the “Import EZK1 project” menu option in EZK2.
Hi,
which DAW are you using? Is this happening in one particular project or all? Would it be possible for you to zip such a project and attach to a post here (without any audio files)?
