Could someone please send me simple and specific set-up procedures so I can get EZD fully functional in Sonar 6. This is my second consecutive day of trying to get this acomplished.
I can open the software through the Soft Synth, VST plugin path. I can also audition the grooves, but after I drag the first file into the session, the software will not play any more of the grooves.
Compaq V5000 Turion 64 laptop, Windows XP OS, Conexant AMC Audio, Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth, and I also have a Lexicon Omega but do not use it all the time. (Should’nt I be able to create drum tracks without having to use the Omega as a Midi device?)
Tks
Tim
PS Once the software is fully functional, how do I access the EZD Editor?

I’m not sure what you refer to as ‘EZdrummer editor’, your host – sonar in this case – is the sketchpad to build your tracks in. Obviously the Sonar manual is the right place to find how to perform MIDI editing in this instance.
As far as the lack of playback, are you dragging the grooves to the MIDI track associated to EZdrumer as opposed to an Audio track? Again I recommend reading up the Sonar documentation for basic operation and acquire familiarity with the ‘soft synth’ side.
