HI all – please help if U can.
I open a new project in Sonar6LE
I insert a soft synth and open Superior Drummer  – works fine , sounds come through.
I insert a 2nd soft synth and open EZ player – and EZ player appears and is given a track AND a midi track in Sonar.
I select a groove – press play in EZ player – , I can see ( in EZplayer window ) the track ‘moving’ and NORMALLY I would hear the groove at this point when listening to EZplayer as a stand alone. Yet in Sonar – nothing.
I have tried this with the midi track armed and un-armed for recording.
Any more tips would be greatly appreciated.
I have read the Sonar help section and it doesnt give the answer ( that I can see )
Regards
Wotto

Don’t forget to enable the VST midi output for EZplayer in the synth properties. Also you have to make sure your target softsynth sampler (Superior Drummer, EZdrummer, Beatstation etc.) has it’s input set to EZplayer or all midi channels and inputs so that it receives the midi output. You can also set the EZplayer output channel to your target softsynth but I don’t believe it is totally necessary.

Thanks Dave. This is still relevant for Sonar X3 in 2015. See attached screen grab for settings.
