Sonar 8.5.3; is it possible to drag and drop MIDI grooves in Piano Roll View?
I’ve tried this on numerous occasions and it’s failed every time. I’m sure I read somewhere hereabouts that it can be done. The only way I can do it at present in in Track View by dragging the EZD MIDI groove into the EZD MIDI track. If I open the EZD MIDI track in PRV and try to drag a MIDI groove, I get a black circle with a diagonal line through. If there’s a setting somewhere in EZD or Sonar I need to check or uncheck I’d appreciate a heads up. Thank you.

That is a SONAR issue. Can’t be done. As a matter of fact, you can’t drag and drop a midi groove from SONAR’s own Browser window into the PRV.

OK, thanks Dave. I posed the question here after doing the same over at the CW Sonar Forum. Similar conclusion, I’m afraid; can’t be done.
I see I’m a Junior again. How bizarre is that? Look when I joined, 08/30/2006, I’ve made far more than seven posts, I can tell you!
