There are three zones. Is that what you have setup?

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Yes, all three zones are working fine. Im wondering, if there is a way or a expansion library, that can make smooth transitions between those three zones. Like mixing 50% Zone 1 and 50% Zone 2, when im hitting in the middle of zone 1 and zone 2.

You need a DAW for that and some plugins, very advanced stuff.

Physical modeling plugins can handle that, like mood drums. Toontrack would have to sample every transition with velocity layers and round robin, or implement some sort of physical modeling technique. Would be a great feature for SD4
