With EZBass, I’m trying to create Smooth Slide (Legato), which should be a slide but so that the second note is not picked. I’m using DAW and not EZBass editor.

Other key switches seem to work ok, like F0 (slide down) and G0(slide up), but don’t know how to use G#0 Legato, it just doesn’t do anything.

    How should I do it?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

F#0: Slide is (I think) what you are looking for. G#0 is a like legato on a piano, holding a note and releasing when the next note is played, basically the ability to play only one note at a time. F#0 will slide to the next note.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes, Slide is basically what I’m looking for, but I would like it so that the second note is not picked.

Let’s say I want a slide from  G1 to C1 so that C1 is not picked. Is that possible? Maybe by combining slide and legato?

To make legato work, make each one overlap the next and have the key switch in the midi. I would do G1 to C1 slides by putting in every note and overlapping them.
