Hi,
I’m seeing an issue, when using SD3 as a VST (note that the issues does not happen in standalone mode).
When running SD3 as a VST (I’ve tried in both Tracktion Waveform 10 and Renoise), the GUI is super slow. Clicking on a few drums slows everything down, and doesn’t play sound in realtime, same thing happens in the Play Style Panel as well. The Grid Editor and Grooves panel seem to work better, but still a little choppy. This isn’t a total blocker, but it really makes it difficult to audition instruments in the kit, or to make any changes to the individual instruments in realtime. I didn’t notice this in Windows a few weeks ago, but it seems to be an issue on Mac.
Anybody else see a similar issue, or know of something I can try to resolve it?
Hi,
Maybe this can help? https://www.admiralbumblebee.com/general/2018/10/09/Retina-Issues-One-Quick-Fix.html

Oh man. What a ridiculously simple fix. Thank you!
I think it’s weird that it would work ok in standalone mode, but acted like that as a VST, but I guess if it’s being drawn by the DAW, something about wrapping it that way brings up the performance issues. Interesting.
Thanks again!
