I got a brand new iMac fully loaded with 40gb. Catalina. After the latest update when clicking on a drum it hesitates and seems slightly glitchy.

Go to System Preferences > Displays > Color and select “sRGB IEC61966-2.1.” That should make the graphics much faster.

SD 3.2.0 was just released, which makes this color profile workaround unnecessary.

This thread was about a Mac-specific issue. It sounds like you need to use the Task Manager to force-quit Reaper.
