Slide up and down

I want to do a slide up and down (as in picture one). And I can do it when using audio tracker but when i try to do i manualy in editor it adds tones like picture two. So how do i do this?

Add the notes that you want to slide between, select these notes, and then select “Smooth Slide (Legato)” from the slide menu.
