Size of User Interface

Hi there,

This remark request is valid for both EZKeys and EZDrummer.
Would be nice to make the main product window resizeable, so that we can display more information without scrolling when using very large screens.

Also it would be nice to have an option to resize UI elements (menu, buttons, lists, etc.)
I see two reasons for that.
1. On new devices with very high pixel density, each UI element becomes very small in EZKeys, making mouse click very tedious, and making the whole UI less readable.
2. Many new devices have touch screens, and using EZKeys with touch is highly desirable, but not very convenient today because of the too small UI elements.

Thanks for the ideas! We always listen to our customers. The ideas aren’t always possible to implement due to different reason, but this one has been requested before so we know about the need for resizable windows

Thank you, good to know you’re working on it.

Please note there are 2 different requests in my post, one about the main windows, the other one about UI Elements.

Please also note I’l lbe glad to be a beta-tester if needed, as I do have an ultrabook with touch-enabled high-pixel density screen.

As a former developer I know that resizeable UIs can be tricky to implement, but they become important in a world where touch-screens are prevalent and screen size goes from 5″ (like smartphones) up to 80″ (like Microsoft PPI), with all intermediate formats available in the middle.

Please add a Ditto to that request. Have EZ Drummer. Use it quite a Lot. Just bought EZ Keys. Size not bad on my Big Studio PC screens ,but soon will also be working on a Microsoft Sp3/i7. It is VERY small. (Not always going to have it hooked up to the Big Secondary Screen) And using the Looking Glass is not very User-Friendly.

Exactly, I was thinking using a Surface Pro 3 too.
Today I have an ASUS with Touch Screen, it’s a 14″ full HD screen and EZKey is already very small on it, it will be even worse on the SP3.

Hello, it’s 2016, and the interface is worse than ever. on Windows 10 it’s unbelievably tiny. In real world point sizes the type would be about 2. Windows cannot change the size. It’s almost unusable. ???? please fix this, Toontrack.

You guy HAVE to let us resize and expand the user interface. I mean this is just basic stuff. Please please PLEASE implement this feature.

Let me be the first person in 2022 to request implementing resizable UI.  I’m guessing it must be a difficult issue to resolve considering it has been requested more than 5 years ago.  Nontheless, I urge you to persevere in this endeavor.  Thanks.

I have to agree with all the posts related to the outdated implementation of the EZ Keys GUI on modern displays.

It is way too small and almost unusable especially for an old guy like me who needs ‘Computer Glasses’

Come on Toontrack…….I have all of your products apart from EZ Mix…… you are letting yourselves down treating such a great program so shitterly.

Listen to your customers please!
