Simple question – Cymbal choke

Ok. New to SDX etc. In a song I what to hit a cymbal and choke it with a hand grab.

easiest way? Just midi editor it or what?

BEST ANSWER

The simplest way is to add a Mute note! Open the grid editor, and expand the cymbal you are playing (press the arrow next to the name on the left side).

Using the pen tool, add a note on the cymbal choke articulation lane. There are other ways to accomplish a hand choke, but this should be the simplest.
