    Hi,

you mean if you select the Multichannel output preset in the EZdrummer mixer? Well, they are all Stereo outputs (1-8) and the Toms should be panned over the Stereo output.

    Is this what you meant?

    yes, multichannel selection….
it appears as if the toms are treated as one output(track 5) where as the others…kick, snare, etc are individually adjustable.

there are only 8 outputs and more drums than outputs. Seems like a sound idea to me to group the toms. There is nothing to stop you changing that routing if a different configuration is more adapted to your needs however.

Is that 8 stereo outs? can it be configured to 16 mono outs, or a mixture?

I think I asked questions about this when I first considered buying EZD and I can’t remember what I was told.

I opted straight to SD2 which has 32 outputs which can be configured as mono, 16 stereo, or you can pan and route to get a mixture. That is an option if you want to split outputs beyond EZD’s capability, along with all the other configurability you get with SD2, and you can use your EZX libraries with it too.

Thanks for the responses.. yes grouping the toms is a sensible reason.
    Basically was just curious…
I wish I could purchase SD2, but my lack of income doesnt allow me at the present time:(
Cant even get my copy of SD1 or C&V from my ex…really stinks and upsetting.. 🙁
Just gonna have to make do with what I have(great product)….sacrifices for not drinking alcohol for 2 1/2 years
    Thanks again guys!
