I have installed EZD and toontrack solo. Installations seems to be well. EZD works in toontrack solo – means, I can hear the sound. When I start Cubase and try to start the EZD as a VST Instrument, I got the message “EZD could not find sounds” But the sounds are still in the right toontrack folder and the .dll is also right in the VST folder.
I don`t know what to do, I have tried to install it new twice a time – it didn`t work. And there is no way to put the sound path in manually.
I will be glad, if anyone knows what`s wrong. Answers in german are welcome
Hi,
have you moved any files post initial installation? Your post and the error messages indicates you have, that’s why I am asking.
If you have e.g. moved or copied the ‘Ezdrummer.dll’ file to your standard VST plugins folder, instead of Custom installing it, this would be expected.
Please check in Toontrack solo what the plugin path is by going to ‘Options > Set Paths…’. This location is where Cubase should look for the plugin file.
If you perform a Search for ‘Ezdrummer.dll’ on your system and you have instances showing up in other locations, they should be deleted to avoid mixups.
BR,
John
