You need to go to the edrum settings and change the note number of the Tom you want to play to the note number your module is sending. Then save the preset with a new name.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

In SD3 if you have added a third tom or the kit you are using has a third tom, in the DRUMS tab. Click on the tom, on the right hand side of the screen (Property Box), expand “MIDI mapping” section. That will show you the MIDI expected to trigger that drum. Now you can either remap it in the Roland VAD506, page 40 of the reference manual to send the MIDI to the specs shown in the MIDI mapping section or you can or can click on the little menu next to each articulation and hit your third tom and see if it maps to that drum, however you may then have to map another MIDI number/note to the cymbal. Then as Mark indicated, save it as a custom preset.

    Hope this is helping.

Great news. I would have been more specific but I can never remember unless I have SD3 open in front of me
