It’s been a long time since I used Toontrack products or created any music. I’m wanting to get back into it, so I am trying to start by installing EZDrummer 2.
If I remember right, I’m supposed to install and update the core EZDrummer 2 library/software (through the Toontrack program manager) and then go from there with expansion packs. I remember EZDrummer 2 creating an icon on the desktop for its stand-alone program.
I have no icon that I can find anywhere.
I’m also not finding a .dll to use within a DAW. I’m also getting an error about missing samples when trying to install expansion packs.
Thanks for any help! I hope I’m not having problems due to Windows 11? Setting this stuff in the past was easy.
did you use all the default settings? ___or___ did you customize the paths to samples and VST? if the former – i’d try to reinstall it. maybe some permissions were blocking it? if the latter, then you need to adjust the settings in the standalone (and possible the VST?) and in the VST scanning for your DAW.
i’m using W11 Home – never an issue installing any of the TT products or extensions via the install manager.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanOof. I think I must have installed some sort of additional files initially when I thought I was installing the main program. I uninstalled everything I could within program manager and then saw a download and install link for EZ Drummer 2. I think I’m just tired today and making silly errors. Thanks for the reply, I have the icon now and should be good to go.
