How easy is it to export multi midi files for sharing? I have SD3 and am exploring the option of having someone else map out the drums for a upcoming release. I’ll want to import their work into my version for tonal editing
can you please elaborate on what you mean with ‘Multi Output’ MIDI?
What is on your Song Track can easily be exported as a MIDI file via the Track Menu. This MIDI file contains what notes, Tempo and Time Signatures you have entered on the Song Track. This MIDI file can be imported to another user’s SD3 track (but if the other user has SD3, Project saving and sharing is a better option) or into another host. Worth noting is that if the receiver of the MIDI file does not have a Toontrack drum plug-in, some notes that are in the Extended GM region (if used) will not map as expected.
