Shaker / tambourine roll

I’m getting good results using the one shot grooves. However, at the end of a bar, I want to do a roll, i.e. really fast continuous shake, with tambourine / shaker. I’m not seeing anything in the midi browser that seems to fit this bill as it maxes out at 16th notes with varying accents.

One workaround that comes to mind would be to create a temp project, add the 16ths / no accent, set the tempo really fast until it sounds about right (probably 64ths but that’s just a guess), render it, then bring it back to the actual song. But that’s a fairly clumsy hack and I’m hoping you guys have already thought of this need and I’m just missing it.

What’s your recommendation for, say, a continuous shaker roll that lasts for a full measure?

Hi,

there’s no fast way to do it with the Tambourine pad in EZdrummer 2, since it does not have the roll/crescendo articulation. EZX:s like the Latin Percussion or the Latin Cuban Percussion have Rolls/Crescendos recorded, which makes it a lot easier.
