Setting up the Alesis I/O with EZDrummer

I just picked up a new Alesis e-drum kit and I got an Alesis Trigger I/O and a free copy of EZ Drummer Lite which I have upgraded to the full version. I am trying to get sound out of my kit but nothing is happening. I have chosen the midi controller and chosen the e-drum controller setting. I can’t get anything, does anyone have experience with the Trigger I/O and EZ Drummer?

It would be usb/midi out of your E kit into you computer,then in your host or solo the sounds from EZD would be triggered.
It is a bit hard to understand from your description exactly what may be going on.
Can you make sure that EZD is operating normally by using its own player or just midi mousing on the drum pads.
If this is working then it is more a matter of getting EZD to see the midi coming in via USB.

Did you install drivers for the Alesis.?
What host are you using ?
