Is there a way to do that? I can get EZ Drummer going fine coming into Logic in one stereo track, and use the EZ Drummer mixer. But I’d like to have each EZ Drummer track (bass, kick, snare, overhead etc) coming in on it’s own track. When I try to do this, I get 8 tracks in Logic all with the same audio, (full stereo of all instruments) from EZ Drummer. Anybody know what I’m doing wrong here?
A second part of this question is that actually all I want to be able to do is control the level of the ride cymbal. In the EZ Mixer, it’s not on it’s own channel, it’s in the overhead and room channels. But bringing those channels down changes the feel of the mix, and I like it as is. Is there any way to bring down the ride level without having to do that?
thanks!
Here’s a video for setting up multiout in Logic:

As for controlling the ride only, it’s not possible with one instance of EZD. I’m not sure how it works in Logic, but in Cubase you can load 2 instances of EZD and load your regular kit (unload the Ride cymbal) and load another EZD with just the Ride loaded (select ‘None’ for all other kit pieces). Then write your Ride MIDI on the ‘Ride only EZD’ and the rest of the kit on the other EZD track.
Of course, if you have S2, you can do all of that in one instance of S2 and control the volume of all the kit pieces.
