Setting up AKAI MPK Mini to be input to EZDrummer3

I have been battling trying to get this hookup to work. The AKAI shows up as a selection, but the box cannot be checked. AKAI MPK Mini. Beyond that I want to create tracks in ProTools 22. I can import Segments now, so there is a connection between EZD and PT… Not sure if I’ll have issues there, but first step is getting midi controller to work!

Did you ever figure out a fix for this? I am having literally the exact same problem and tech support has been less than helpful.

could you please provide a screen shot of the Audio/MIDI setup page?
Does your MPK Mini work as expected with other software on the same PC?

I have never been able to figure it out. Could not get help from either AKAI or ToonTrack. So the AKAI sits as a paperweight.

I dug out my old AKAI MPK Mini and hooked it into my laptop. EZDrummer 3 sees it without issue.

All drums triggering no problem.

Check your USB cable and port you’re plugging into. If you are using a hub, ensure that it has power.

Macs should see it without any need for drivers as it is class compliant.
