EZdrummer is only officially supported for E-drum use with Toontrack solo. Toontrack solo performs a real-time input transform of MIDI notes and controller data.
When you use EZdrummer in another host as e.g. Pro Tools, this option is not available.
If you absolutely need to use another host than Toontrack solo, I recommend looking into a crossgrade deal for Superior 2 which has full E-drum support (and much much more).
