    https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/5/5-1-mixer-tab-header-bar/5-1-1-the-mixer-menu

In the ‘Mixer’ dropdown menu on Mixer tab in SD3
(on the left side of the window, above the mixer channels, below [File] menu),
there is option to ‘Apply MultiChannel Output

1.a Once done how do you import each channel into logic? Right now I bounce each to a wave and bring it in. It’s time consuming.

Okay thanks but that doesn’t do anything.

I can select S3/4  S5/6 etc but nothing happens.

In EZ Drummer it opens new tracks but in SD3 it doesn’t, nothing happens.

I own Cubase 10.5 but I don’t use it enough to be a good teacher.
I opened a session and created 2 Instrument Tracks, putting EZDrummer2 on one track
and SuperiorDrummer3 on the other, selecting Multichannel Outputs on both virtual instruments.

I found no difference in activating the Cubase channels for each virtual instrument.

Logic ‘activates’ AUX channels in the mixer when a multichannel instrument is selected.
In this case, 16 stereo AUX tracks are created for SD3.

    SD3_Logic_Multichannel_AU_Instrument

It is then your task to route each SD3 mixer channel output to one of these 16 AUX channels’ inputs.

PS. EZDrummer2 operates in the same manner.

Hi guys, I just wanted to pop in and offer my profuse apologies for the hit and run nature of this thread.

The night I posted this query my partner came down with suspected Covid and was very rough for a couple of weeks, I caught it off her as she was recovering and due to a pre-existing lung condition I was laid low for a further 3 weeks. We have both made a full recovery now but on booting up the studio for the first time in a couple of months I suddenly remembered this thread!

Thanks for all the responses, I think I have sussed it out after a lot of faffing, using a rack instrument in Cubase and setting the multi-outs manually seems the best solution.

If I have any queries about SD3 in the future I promise to respond in a little quicker than 2 months!

    Thanks.

    Brad
