Mapping includes a custom Keymap for 2box now in SD3 so select that and see how you go ?

No, I want to trigger the 2box sounds, the mapping works great if I want to trigger SD3 but I want to do the other way around, send midi into the 2box to trigger its internal sounds.

I understood that, just hoped once keymap was selected that it would follow through in reverse.
Seems that maybe all can be done is to change midi numbers in the 2box which is a bit daunting but i think can be reset, easily, funny thing is ,if you do that then it will trigger back to sd3 without the need of a special keymap which could be quite a good thing. Maybe the way to do it.

It seems the SD3 grooves follow the GM standard and there’s no way to change the mapping to use them externally in a daw. Strangely enough, when I record midi from the box the recorded notes are all transposed in logic, kick is c2 in 2box, records as c1 in logic…
Changing the midi notes in the 2box module does nothing to the incoming or outgoing midi note, baffling…

In logic Only if i open an external midi track and drag a TT midi file onto it and make sure midi channel 10 is on it works.
mind you i only hear the kick and snare once changed from midi note F2 to D2 In the 2box so it does Respond.
I have a feeling this is a pre built Daw limitation issue too.
The octave 8va offset (2box end)? can be confirmed and unexplained
Another note is the TT midi files are GM extended ( not just GM ) and thats where hi hat is addressed and is not so easy to deal with.
I found the note C0 was triggering on some and other files was a D3
