Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help with this please – it’s driving me mad!  I’ve got a fresh install of SD3 on an external drive because of the storage capacity of the samples.  Since I’ve started using SD3 on the new Mac Mini with Roland V drums, it fails to trigger some of the sounds, most notably when hitting multiple pads at the same time.  I’m using it in 16-bit cache mode but this problem still persists!  Do I need to use SD3 in Rosetta mode until Toontrack officially supports the M1 chip?  If so, how do I do that?

Is there a specific need to run in cache mode? Otherwise I wouldn’t, it requires you to hit every trigger you are going to need before the kit sounds “normal”.

In your application menu, press Command-i (Get Info window should open and show you if “Open using Rosetta” is selected)

What Roland drums are you using and have you downloaded and installed the M1 compatible driver?

I think this is the same person who asked this question on another forum and fixed it with a different midi cable.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Hello Mark, this is indeed me. Issue was resolved by changing the MIDI cable as it was faulty!
