hello,
Logic keeps crashing with overload of CPU when using SD3 as a plug in. If I switch of mic bleed it’s better but still clunky but as soon as I start processing anything it falls over? What can I do to mitigate this/resolve this?
Any help would be much appreciated. cheers.
My system is as follows:
Logic Pro X 10.2.4
Mac OS High Sierra
3.06Ghz Intel core i3
12GB DDR3 RAM
1 TB solid state Sata Drive

Standalone host version 3.2.4 (build 26834)
SOUND LIBRARIES

Superior Drummer 3 – Percussion version 1.0.0
Superior Drummer 3 version 1.0.0
MIDI LIBRARIES

Hi,
do you have more than 1 CPU Core set in SD3 Settings > Performance > CPU Usage?

Hey thanks for the quick response and yes CPU usage is set to 1 in the SD3 settings.
Does this happen with a new empty session with SD3 as the only plugin? Have you had Activity Monitor active at the same time to give you an idea of what’s happening, RAM and CPU wise?
What is it like when you run SD3 standalone and bring all the bleeds on?
Do you get a dump when it crashes?
