So, working with SD3 inside of my DAW is truly great! But it would be even better if it’d be possible to set the opacity of the SD3 VST window so that the project window of the DAW could be utilized to better extent while working inside SD3. Could it be something to implement?

Is there something in particular you want to achieve by being able to partially see through the plugin window?

I have an app installed, AquaSnap, that lets windows snap to corners when you move them there. It makes all windows somewhat transparent when they are moved around. This includes the SD3 VST window when opened up inside of the DAW. Here’s a screenshot of how it looks. I just think that it could be useful to have this option available as it sometimes could be beneficial for the workflow when having an overview of the project itself.

I am not sure we are able to do that, since we have limited rights of what we can change outside the window we are placed in by the DAW.
However, there are programs that can control the opacity of windows, have you tried that? A google for make windows transparent gives you many to choose from…
