not really an issue but kind of annoying. When saving a project in the DAW (Ableton Live) with “follow host” deactivated in SD3, and also simultaneously saving the SD3 project in the plugin with “follow host” deactivated in SD3, every time you close the DAW project and reopen the DAW project, “follow host” is always automatically turned back on in SD3.
i couldn’t agree more. in actual fact, i’ve brought this up before and i’ve been told it will be fixed with the next update. i’m still waiting.
This essential fix should have been done a long time ago, it’s the same with Cubase. I stopped using SD3 for now, it’s spoiling my workflow, as i keep forgetting to check it each and every time: VERY ANNOYING !!! …. Should be an ‘easy’ fix; it’s not with EZdrummer.
BUMP
PS … ISN’T THERE A MIDI CONTROLLER OR SOME CONFIG EDIT TO SWITCH FOLLOW HOST OFF FROM WITHIN A MIDI TRACK ?????
Hi,
the fix will be included in the next update as I understand it. Until then, the easiest way is to Mute what is on the Song Track or even better; create a new empty Song Track and have it selected.
There is no MIDI Learn or similar for the Host Follow On/Off, no.
