Hello –
I use VSL’s VEPro 7 for large instrumental and orchestral templets. Normally, VEPro is very stable for my projects. Two large templets created in 2018 and early 2019 use SD2 and are very stable. Recently, I am unable to create a new and stable VEPro 7 templet (latest version) using SD3 (latest version). SD3 is causing VEPro 7 to crash. SD3 seems fine (so far) when engaged in my audio audio/sequencing programs. (I use the latests versions of Apples Logic Pro X and MOTU’s DP 10.)
Anyone else have instability issues between SD3 and VEPro7? If so, any ideas on how to make the two programs work well with each other?? Or, might either or both of the programs need some serious fixing/updates???
Here is my computer’s specs:
Refurbished 2009/2010 Mac Pro ( 2 x 3.66 GHz 6-core Xeon CPUs), macOS 10.13.6, 64 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM, NVIDIA Quadro K5000 video card, a total of 10 internal & external SSDs.
Thank you for any helpful information. . .
Ted
Unfortunately, putting SD3 in VSL’s VEPro still causes a crash. Anyone else experiencing this?!? (Anyone else using VEPro to house large instrumental and orchestral templets??)
Thank you. . .
Hi,
I haven’t used VEPro (7) in a while but since you wrote this post I have been trying to make it crash but haven’t been able to so far.
Anything particular in your Project? How big is it? Is it perhaps OK if you ZIP the Project and attach to a post here to see if I can make it crash as well?
BR,
John
