I have been using SD3 Tracker over the past few days with great results, replacing various kicks and snares. However, an odd thing happened today: suddenly the kick and snare wav files imported into SD3 come out close to a half second delayed versus the original drum tracks. AKA way, way out of sync.
The odd thing is that I’m using the same setup and routing as other songs, several of which worked fine today, several of which are out of sync. Same sessions recorded from, same sample rate, same system, same everything. We’re not talking a few nudges off, we’re talking I can see the kick coming in “a half centimeter” before the original kick kinda thing. I have updated the tempo map to match the host.
When I use Slate Trigger 2 and Drumagog, the drums line up perfectly when using the same file.
I’m on latest Pro Tools Studio 2024.6.0, SD3 3.4.0 and all libraries are fully updated. Any bugs or other things you’re aware of? The only thing not fully updated is my MacOS as I’m worried a few things will break if I update right now in the midst of a client session.
