SD3 software-only upgrade

I would like to be able to upgrade from SD2 to SD3 without paying for over 200 gigabytes of new samples. I already have all the drum sounds I need in SDX and EZX libraries. The new arranging and drum replacement features are worth something to me, but they’re not worth the upgrade price. I hope that, after the upgrade deadline on December 31, you will offer a software-only upgrade at an appropriately reduced price to SD2 owners like me. Thanks!

I’m in the same situation.

I only use a few different expansions so I have no need for the new sound library, but I would love to use the new software/interface.

A SD3 software-only upgrade would be perfect.

The upgrade price is certainly expensive at 179 Euros, especially if like myself one doesn’t need the new kits and doesn’t want the surround content. Clearly I am not alone in thinking that if the program was available on its own without that additional content at a lower price then many of us currently sitting on the fence would have already upgraded.
