SD3 seemed crashed, nothing works anymore..

So, I have a Roland TD-25, connected to my laptop. At first with a MIDI cable, later by an AB-USB cable.

It all worked fine. Then my kickdrum sounded very strange. Suddenly SD3 seemed to crash. Booted again, but somewhere I lost the connection between my TD-25 and SD3…..

Anyone some idea???

Some additional information. Today, when I hit a drum with the mouse, it works. Didn’t yesterday.
I use the preset Roland TD-25. Looking at the MIDI panel, there’s only a MIDI USB 2.0 to select. No TD-25.

So, it seems there is no connection between my TD-25 and SD3.
Did I make a wrong connection? Which one is preferred? AB-USB or MIDI?
