hey guys, still having the same problem when i edit a drum fill and save to my user midi files. ive added a bass drum note in my drum fill and when i save it to midi then drag it back in again it moves the first three bass drum notes in the fill down to the floor tom 2 and leaves the last two bass drum hits as they were.
this is really frustrating me as im wasting a lot of time trying to edit stuff and when i drag it back into the track its changed its self. it moves some of the bass drum notes onto floor tom two which isnt even part of the kit. is there anything im missing like do you have to save your changes before you drag it into your midi files to be saved?
thanks brian
You might have to detail your steps a little more. I’m not able to recreate your issue.

hi,so in the first picure the cursor arrow points to the extra bass drum i added to my drum fill, thats all i did to the original fill. i then drag the drum fill to my user midi files. i then drag the drum fill back into the track time line on its own to make sure it saved ok but i end up with three bass drums moved down to floor tom 2 as in the second picture,strange..
I’ve added a small clip of what I’m doing to show a bass drum changing to a floor Tom after I save a file and drag it back in to the song time line again,I only edited a little velocity on the fill,no bass drums or any other parts were added, sorry not great camera work but I’m in a rush to go to work but you can see what’s happening and it does it on other drum parts to.
is there something I’m getting wrong here? TIA
Won’t let me upload the file,was a 50 second clip,too large🙁
any moderaters out there that I can email the clip to?
can anyone help direct me to a link or someone from tchnical from toontrack that i could try and resolve this issue with? thanks
hey scott, ive sent the video to toontrack but ive had no reply, its really annoying when my bass drums keep moving to the floor tom2 after being saved.
is there no techincal guys from toontrack on this site i could private message the video to?
not sure about uploading the midi,i made a short video clip to show it change the bass drums to floor toms after i saved to my user files and then dragged back in to my song track time line.
yeah, but your video does not allow one to attempt to recreate your issue.
I don’t even see a video here. What I wouldn’t mind seeing is a video completely outlining your steps.
if there is such a video, post it in the cloud and provide a link.
