Has anyone ran into this?
Studio one sees midi coming in from the strike module which rules out the module (module midi out is set to omni), but that’s about as far as it goes. I am able to control SD3 with a Jamstik. Midi Mapping in SD3 is set to match the Strike Module. I tried SD3 stand alone with input set to the strike module, midi channels set to “all”, still nothing on the midi monitor.
hopefully someone has a solution.
Thanks in advance!
I’m guessing you are missing something here as you have proved midi in is working. So in standalone in the midi/audio settings you have the strike midi box ticked and in the edrum settings you have selected the strike preset? I also take it you haven’t changed the midi note outs on the strike? If you have done all that and you still see nothing then maybe re-install just the SD3 plug-in.
also in reaper if you create a midi track can you record the notes coming in from the strike and see them in an editor?
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Hi Mark, Thanks for the reply!
I got things to work finally. I had to create a new keyboard controller called strike pro. Apparently Studio One doesn’t have Alesis in their default mapping list.
Again. Thanks for the response!
