SD3 MIDI Triggering, but no sound

I am using the following product with my Alesis Surge Mesh Kit and am not receiving any sounds regardless of velocity strike on the pads.  The program registers that I have hit the pad, shows the animation of a drum/cymbal being hit, shows “volume” on the track in the mixer section, and also recognizes the trigger in the Midi Analyzer section.  When I use my mouse to click on any drum/cymbal it produces the appropriate sound.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and still nothing.

Are you using the correct MIDI mapping preset for your Alesis?

If you’re referring to the Alesis module itself, i haven’t had to mess with any midi settings on there.  I’m currently using USB output to computer to connect.  Cubase recognizes and allows me to record midi files with it, but when I try to use SD3 VST or Standalone app, it wont do anything.

I’m talking the MIDI preset in SD3. Look in Settings for MIDI in/e-drums and select the preset you need. Your third screenshot shows the page I’m talking about.
