Hi,
I could use the help. I am taking some of the grooves from my libraries and dragging them into the track editor on the bottom (Superior Drummer 3).
They sound great, but whenever I edit the groove and add my beats to modify the groove, the modified beats sound different from the unedited groove portions. They sound weaker, with less volume. This happens to anything I add to a groove… does anyone know what is going on? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
Hi,
It sounds like the velocity of your added hits are lower than you want, so check their values in the velocity editor (bottom part of the grid editor).

Thank you so much… I actually started probing more and realized that the grooves were using the stacked hit of the bass and not the open… when I added a note it was an open hit. I figured out how to make the default a stacked hit but turning off the open articulation. So that was it! Hope it helps anyone else with the same issue.
