SD3 'Instrument' future hits problem

Dear Forum,

I am a Toontrack customer and have SD3 and numerous Toontrack sample packs – I am experiencing a problem that I have been contacting Toontrack support with since 9th March, but have not yet receive a response.

I am very disappointed in Toontrack’s customer service, particularly as I am a long-standing customer and I have a deadline for my project which urgently requires a solution.

I wonder if a Forum user can help me ?

Please see below:
-I have just started working on a new project and I wanted to add a tambourine to the song.
-I am aware that SD3 offers a number of tambourine instruments as well as ‘grooves’.
-I usually add an ‘Instrument’ (Future Instrument) and select a tambourine which appears on the ‘Drums’ screen.
-I then go to GROOVES/ SD3/ Future Hit Tambourine/ and then select a ‘groove’.
-I did this but this time it did not work and I could not hear any audio when I played the ‘grooves’?
-I opened the ‘grid editor’ to see what was going on and I see the groove I selected appears as ‘Note 3’ when it should have defaulted to ‘Instrument 1’ (which should correlate to the ‘Future Hit Tambourine’ I selected).

I have attached screen-grabs for your information.
Can someone please help resolve this issue?

Do you see a signal coming in on the mixer for the Tamb? also you  can try draggin the note 3 up to Inst. 1

Hi,

first I must ask you to please not double-post (in this case triple-post) across several parts of the Forum.

Your other posts will be removed.

When I look at your screen shot, it looks like you have added a Tambourine as a regular instrument and not a Future Hit Percussion Pad. The image is wrong and the Instrument name should be ‘Tambourine 1’ not ‘Instrument 1’.
Please check first if it is possible to find the Shaker and Tambourine in the ‘Add Instrument > Future Hit Instrument’ drop down Menu.
