Hey,
I have setup SD3 with the multi output (16 tracks) option in Logic and it works perfectly as a plug in and sounds great but only shows 1 actual midi track in the record/instrument region. How do I create independent midi tracks for all elements of the SP3 drums and how would I get 16 individual audio (not midi) tracks in logic so I can send the drum takes/sounds to someone to mix/master who does not have SD3.
I guess the quick question is…….How to do I send SP3 drums in logic to an external studio who do not have SP3?
A quick, easy way would be very much appreciated.
Thanks for your help.
You don’t create independent midi tracks for multiple outputs. In Logic’s mixer, you will see a “+” on the instrument channel strip. Pressing that will create multiple output channels for SD3. In SD3’s mixer, you then route your instruments to those outputs.
however, if you are going to be giving a studio your audio, then it is probably best that you simply bounce your raw kit pieces from SD3.
