I’m new to Superior Drummer, having just cross-graded from EZ2. So maybe this is possible, and I just haven’t found it. What I would like is the ability to import a stereo audio file (sans drums) into the Grooves/Song Creator interface so I can construct a drum track in the standalone interface. The reason for this is, I find it cumbersome to have to keep switching windows between Logic and SD3 to stop and start the song. Maybe there is a way to have SD3’s transport control playback in Logic, but I haven’t found it.
Thanks for such an awesome product line!
Hi onewayout_1,
Even with EZD2 using follow host is a hassle because, unless I’m missing something, I can’t control playback of my DAW(Logic) from EZD2. So each time I want to work from a specific point in the song, I have to bring the Logic window into focus, relocate the playhead, start playback, then jump back into EZD2. I know I can set locators in logic and turn on loop cycle, but that’s still a lot of back and forth. Please tell me I missed something, and that there IS a way to control Logic playback from within EZD2 or SD3. I’d feel stupid, but thrilled to know!
Thanks for a lot of great improvements in SD3!
Some more SD3 feature requests:
– I would like SD3 to recognize to show all the Richard Devine (and others) mixer presets from the EZdrummer Claustrophobia expansion, as they are not showing up in SD3.
– And I would like SD3 mixer preset expansions from Richard Devine, as the ones he has done for SD3 are amazing!

Hi,
plugins can’t control hosts that way, I’m afraid.
