SD3 Drum Naming

It would be great if we could re-name any instruments we add, ie. ‘Synth Snare’ instead of ‘Instrument 1’.

Also would be cool if one could load ‘Drum Parts’ i (as opposed to full kits) from other EZXs or SDXs rather than just the one you are currently in.

ie. When you’re in ‘Rock Foundry’ you can still load a snare and mixer presets from a snare from a kit within ‘UK Pop’. Currently you can only do this for a snare already based within ‘Rock Foundry’.

Edit: It would also be cool if the decay envelope could be set to beats such as 1/32 or 1/8 instead of just milliseconds. Obviously only useful for long decays but would be nice to have decays work quicker when the tempo is faster.

Thanks for the feedback! The naming of instruments are already on our todo-list. And the 1/32 etc instead of ms is also there 🙂
The loading of preset parts from other libraries are, however, much more complicated to achieve. I will take a note of it anyway!

To be honest I figured that the last option would be the trickiest, given that each library has a different number of kit pieces and in order to load settings one would need to navigate two menus instead of just one.

No worries, though, as the other two were my real focus and to hear that they may be coming is excellent news indeed.
