Hello,
When I open a project in Logic Pro, my Toontrack plugins don’t seem to be active until I have selected their tracks one time after opening the project. If I open the project and just hit “Play” I’ll typically be missing bass and drums until I go and click on those tracks. Once I do, I get the spinning beachball for a second, then those plugins start working. This happens with Superior Drummer 3 and EZbass, so I am going to post this in both places.
Thanks,
Joe
I’ve been helped with this by Olof in the EZbass section. The answer was simple. In the File -> Project Settings menu, uncheck the option, “only load plug-ins needed for project playback” or place some MIDI data on the track to make Logic realize the plug-in is needed.
Or, if you wish to keep the feature on, just put a blank midi region in the track.
